Overview:
This month, CMCCO, launches it's Green Building & LEED Engineering Program through which it announces to the world a commitment to our environment and pledges to maintain and preserve mother nature on all its projects. This program is part of our Environmental Development Unit which has been providing consultation & research for environmental projects as well as environmental impact analysis for construction & industrial projects for over 8 years now.
This program is part of CMCCO's strategy and plan for 2010 which the board approved last October 2009 announcing 2010 our year for the Lebanon and the Arab world to go green with our slogan " Keeping the scene GREEN". Recognizing that the Middle East is still far behind from the rest of the world in environmental awareness and green technology, our plan has been launched in three major aspects: Consultation, Training & Awareness Campaign.

GBLE Consultation:
LEED, the Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design, rating system is the most acclaimed and internationally recognized system of certification for green buildings, and aims to encourage environmentally responsible and sustainable designs. Such certification requires beforehand the presence of expertise and knowledge of sustainable design standards and guidelines. Our Green building consultation services cover the whole process throughout a building's life-cycle: from sitting to design, construction, operation, maintenance, renovation, and deconstruction. This practice expands and complements the classical building design concerns of economy, utility, durability and comfort.
Our mission is to "grow the business of green building," by making our clients more successful in the design, development, marketing, construction and operation of green building projects and programs. We work with manufacturers to develop sustainability programs and green building products. As Such, CMCCO, has compiled a group of experts in the domain which will provide consultation services that can help you with your green and sustainable designs. |

GBLE Training:
CMCCO, a leader in project management and project management training, has been providing training services for over 15 years and we've conducted hundreds of public and in-house training seminars in a vast range of topics. Today, part of our GBLE, Green Building and LEED Engineering Program we are launching a series of customized training programs in sustainability and green building/LEED. It's CMCCO's vision to target the market gap in green knowledge and applied skills helping to promote sustainable design and building processes in our region today. |

GBLE Awareness Campaign:
In light of the absence of public awareness to the importance of sustainable and green building designs, CMCCO has decided as part of its social duty to launch it GBLE Monthly Newsletter of which this Announcement is the 1st. Through this newsletter, we hope to better introduce people to the concept of Green Building and LEED Engineering. It will include historical, scientific and engineering information and news as well as training suggestions and advice. We are sure that you'll benefit from reading and subscribing to this newsletter and even anticipate it every month. |
